I first started DJ’ing around 1979. In 1982 I bought my first Technics Sl1200 Mk2 turntable playing all things funky. By 1989 I moved to the Canaries playing just about any dance music known to man and by 1994 I was back in the United Kingdom playing classic JazzFunk, Soul and Disco music, later turning my hand to recording my own tracks, At the start of the Millenium I had taken a break from DJ’ing only to return about Fifteen years later. It seems I have now picked up from where I started by playing Jazz Funk and Soul. I'am also a regular on the London Soul Train Cruise playing the Anthems.

I started Dj’ing in 1991, after having a massive interest in music growing up listening to late 70s early 80s Soul and Disco played by my parents. I started playing on the mobile Disco scene with a friend of mine playing at many different venues across the south east. That lasted for about 6 years until I was asked to play at a local bar on a regular basis, the rest they say is history. I have played many bars and nightclubs home and abroad and have had many long-term residencies
Dj Chrissy T Live Mondays 8am - 10am
Having had the fortune to grow up in London and be a part of the vibrant club scene in the the late 70’s and 80’s my passion for all things Soul, Funk & Jazz developed. I started Dj’ing at 13 years old using an old FAL system at the local youth club. I carried on as a mobile DJ but quickly realised I only wanted to play Soul,Funk & Jazz ,so for a few years I put soul parties on in and around London including river boat cruises down the Thames and the Epping Forest Country Club. I still get out and about to as many live gigs and soul weekends as possible and remain hugely passionate about the scene.
DJ Warren Jay Live Saturdays 12pm - 2pm
I've been a DJ off and on for the last 20 years, but I must say the last 4 years have been the most exciting for me. I've played gigs up and down the country from Preston to London and with a host of great DJs and artists including Kenny Thomas, Mica Paris, and Natasha Watts. My show is The Lunch Club and is a mix of Old Skool to Neo Soul from the early eighties right up to the independent artists of today. So join me every Saturday for the Lunch Club from midday and if you miss it you can catch the repeat On Mixcloud.com
DJ Darron Brown Live Thursdays 5pm - 7pm
My Brother was a massive influence on my musical taste being 4 years older than me and heavily into the early soul and funk scene of the late 70’s and early 80’s. When I reached 17 and got my licence then it was my turn. Following legends such as Chris Hill Robbie Vincent Froggy among many more and the pirate stations of the day such as JFM and Horizon. Like all good funksters you follow this music all your life and even within this genre everyone has a different taste. I am relatively new to the ‘DJ’ scene presenting on a local community station for last 2 years
DJ Graham Towers Live Fridays 6pm - 8pm
I got my first set of decks aged 12 and couldn’t wait to get home from school every day so I could spin my vinyls. My dad was a DJ so from the age of 11 I went to help him out at gigs that’s where I learnt to do some basic mixing and how to use the mic,. At the age of 15 I was being asked to do house party’s every weekend which was banging, playing drum and bass, at 18 I treated my to a pair of 1210s, a few light, a pair of speakers and started my own mobile business, working every Friday and Saturday night. I’ve always had a massive love and passion for soul music and wanted to share that with other like minded people
DJ Andy B Live Saturdays 5pm - 7pm
I started my DJ career back in 1983 and like most people I started off doing weddings and birthday parties and pub residencies.I met the legendary Froggy in 1985 at a local night spot when he was in town playing every Friday night and we got talking and he taught me how to mix and even let me do an hour set to show off what I've learned from him and to this day I've never forgot him.I've seen a lot of soul acts in my time inc Earth wind and fire (7 times). Brass construction. Fatback. New York Skyy. Luther and Roy Ayres to name just a few.I have a genuine love and passion for Soul and soulful house
Dj Robbie Live Saturdays 2pm - 4pm
I have been a DJ since 1983 when a close friend asked me to help him with a charity event for the local Fire Station, this soon followed up with regular gigs and more events for the Essex Fire Service. From an early age I had a passion for, soul music and this led to my first residency playing on a Thursday night in a wine bar in Waltham Abbey. In the early 90s I took a break when I moved to Bristol, but I kept in touch with the House music scene, which I still enjoy listening to and playing, especially soulful house. I moved back to Essex in 2001 and soon started up a mobile disco company with a local DJ,
